Mr. Seppälä is Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Angeleno Group. Prior to joining Angeleno Group in 2021, Mr. Seppälä spent over 20 years in the investment management industry. He was the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Kiitos Capital Management, a global long-short equity fund focused on healthcare, the environment and agriculture opportunities. Prior to Kiitos, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Cantillon Capital Management in New York, successfully raising $350 million for the Cantillon Health Fund and managing a P&L investment book exceeding $1 billion. Prior to Cantillon, Mr. Seppälä held the position of Equity Research Analyst at Lazard Asset Management. Mr. Seppälä started his career as an investment banker at Salomon Brothers working in the top ranked Global and Yankee Bond underwriting Debt Capital Markets group. Mr. Seppälä holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Yale University. He was a 4-year Yale Varsity Tennis Team member and Ivy Champion. Originally from Finland, he holds both Finnish and U.S. citizenship and grew up in Finland, Sweden, the U.S., Denmark, France and Germany before attending college.
